Day For It News
For over a year now, Day For It has been slowly evolving from a simple tide times app into a globally distributed platform with multiple features, technical layers and thousands of users. The vision for Day For It has grown far and beyond what was initially conceptualised and there are so many exciting plans and ideas to explore in the future. In order to sustain its growth, develop new features and expand the app, we’re introducing Day For It Pro. The app itself will remain free to use, but certain features will only be unlocked in the paid Pro version, starting on the 1st May 2024.
What’s changing?
All standard features and pages will still be available. Basic weather points, saving your favourite beaches and forecast data will still be accessible on the free plan. However, the forecast length on the free plan will be limited to 4 days and some weather points will be made Pro only. Certain features will also be made Pro-only and the number of beaches you can save will be limited to 5. Below is a comprehensive list of what will be changing on the 1st May.

As mentioned, this an extremely exciting time to be a part of Day For It and we thank everyone who has been a part of the early stage of this journey. We’ve had some incredible feedback and use cases, from surf schools to Marine Biology research institutions. We hope that you enjoy using the app as much as we enjoy building it. See you out on the surf!
